Ploughing Edition – Second Crop celebrates the winter season on Lochlea Farm, when the fields are turned and prepared for the next cycle of barley growth. Matured in 100% ex-Islay 200 litre barrels, this expression introduces a subtle smoky character to Lochlea’s signature spirit.

The result is a whisky that balances bright fruit sweetness with a gentle peat influence and soft coastal notes.

The icy blue label reflects the cold winter months on the farm, when the land is ploughed ahead of the spring sowing.
